Today I had the wonderful opportunity of meeting my friend Amy's newest member of her family: Aiden! Amy and I met 7 years ago at Regis where she continued to be my hairstylist until this year :( She has moved on to another job which I am very happy for her, but I do miss her dearly! Thankfully, we have stayed in touch and are able to watch each other's babies grow! What is really neat too, is that we both weren't sure if our first born would ever have a sibling and we ended up getting pregnant during the SAME year. Pretty neat! Congrats Amy on your new bundle of joy!!

Happy Thanksgiving!
Thanksgiving is a very special holiday to me and my family. This year has brought us so much to be thankful for: special memories wtih family and friends and the newest addition to our family: Mason. He is a true blessing! I am so thankful to have all that we do, a loving, supportive husband and two wonderful children that make me smile day in and day out. I am so blessed in so many ways and there isn't a day that goes by that I am not grateful. I wish you and your family a blessed Thanksgiving!!
My mother in law began a tradition of the Thanksgiving squirrel who visits and leaves a special treat each year. It was sure special watching Mason try to figure out what this box was! |

Kylie's glasses
As a result of her first eye exam, Kylie is a bit near sided; therefore was prescribed glasses. She looks SO studious and grown up.She is so excited about them!
Summer time!
I cannot emphasize enough how much I am enjoying my new niece!! She is so perfect in every way and I am so lucky to snuggle her so much! I am so grateful that between my part time schedule and Crystal's maternity leave we have been able to spend so much quality time together. We are so blessed to have perfect, healthy babies!

5 months old
There are moments where I feel like Mason just entered the world and other times where reflect the short time that he has been here and smile so big because I have enjoyed it ALL so much. He is completely infatuated with his hands. They are in his mouth or touching toys, or anything else nearby. He talks so much; it has been so neat to hear his different tones, volumes and sounds. He is also continuing to roll over and has become sturdier sitting up. I love how happy my little man it- his smile lights up our life! Happy 5 months Mason!

Mexican Chicken Crockpot recipe
One of my favorite things about Fall is coming home to the smell of dinner cooking. When it isn't my husband initiating it, it is the crockpot! One of the best inventions- EVER! Recently, my aunt shared this recipe with me and it is delicious!!
4 boneless chicken breasts
1 14.25oz corn (frozen works too!)
1 14.25oz can of black beans (mix it up with different flavors too! Our favorite is the Cuban mix)
1 16oz salsa
1.25 oz taco seasoning mix
Spray the bottom of crockpot with nonstick spray. Put in corn. Place chicken on top of corn and sprinkle with taco seasoning. Pour in salsa and cover with beans.
Cook on low for 6-8 hours. Remove chicken, dice or shred them. Return to crockpot.
For a creamier sauce (which I highly recommend) about a half hour before end of cooking add 8 oz of fat free sour cream. Stir in sauce.
This is delicious served in a warm tortilla sprinkled with cheese or with tortilla chips.
Enjoy!

Meeting Auntie Lacie
Today was a very special day! Auntie Lacie met Mason for the first time! We had been meaning to get together for some time, but between her busy schedule raising three kids and mine, time just got away from us. However, we finally were able to see each other, catch up and she snuggled Mason to sleep! It was so wonderful to share our bundle of joy with her! Can't wait to see you again hun! Love you!

Shauna time!
Today we got all of our kiddos together for the first time! More pictures to come as I haven't uploaded the one of all three boys- which was hilarious organizing! Mason got some snuggle time with Shauna and Jessica as I got to love their boys too! It is so special that our boys are within a year of each other! We have so many more fun times to come!

Mason
Mason is loving his hands right now and the drool has just begun! He also enjoys bundling up and joining me for runs in the jogging stroller. That is coming to the end soon as it is getting WAY to cold out.
