During the last week of my maternity leave, we went and visited Shauna, Brandon and Bronson. Before saying goodbye Bronson gave Mason a sweet kiss on the cheek. It was precious!

Meeting Papa Jay

The weekend that Mason turned 2 months we went to our cousin's cabin on Priest Lake, Idaho for a family reunion. Growing up Crystal and I spent at least a week each Summer with all of our cousins at the cabin; we went on walks, swimming, boating, staying up late and chatting around the campfire. When I reflect on my childhood memories these stand out the most. We always had a great time together.

This year is an amazing one for my Grandpa who will by the end of September have become a Great Grandpa 5 times between us cousins! Kristine had Blake in January, Elizabeth had Isabel in February, I had Mason in June and Crystal and Lauren are due with their little girls at the end of this month! INCREDIBLE. It still blows my mind!

Here at the lake Mason met my Aunt LaNae, Uncle John, Cousin Kristine, Blake, Jack and Grandpa and Grandma. It was a very special time as we barbequed, the kids swam and we got to spend time together with our feet in the sand on the waterfront. We have now made almost annual trips to the lake with our own families and hope to continue the tradition! We did miss Elizabeth, Steven and their daughter Isabel as well as Levi and Lauren. Hopefully we can all make it next Summer!

Daddy time!

Mason is 2 months old and has been such a joy to our lives! This month he has discovered his hands, began smiling at us and coo's. His neck muscles are really strong as he is holding up his head really well. We took a couple of trips over to Eastern, Wa for family reunions as well as took big sister to the Great Wolf Lodge where Mason did amazing in tow! WE LOVE HIM!

I went to get Mason out of his car seat and started laughing at his sign to me....man, they learn at any early age!

Wenatchee!

We had some really fun times over in Wenatchee this Summer! Kylie loved playing in the pool with her dad and us girls did a little bit of shopping.
