What a BLAST we had taking our first family camping trip this year!! Mason and Kylie had a GREAT time like we had hoped! We took the kids boating, fishing, marshmellow roasting and SO MUCH FUN! Kylie made a new best friend whom she spent every minute with and we enjoyed watching Mason enjoy what camping is all about! 

A great Mother's Day!

My family has always made me feel very special on Mother's day. This one was even more special. I woke up to a "happy Mother's day" hug from Kylie and a poster on my bedroom wall full of sweet pictures and words.

Kylie made me eggs for breakfast and after she gave me MORE sweet gifts that she made Mason had a few for me as well. The day before I ran a 5K with my sister, then treated my mom to lunch. Therefore we celebrated with Jesse's mom later Mother's day too! The guys barbequed a DELICIOUS steak dinner=spoiled! I was so grateful for a great day!

11 months!

Happy 11 months Mason!! You are getting SO big, SO fast! We have been so lucky to witness your many milestones that you have accomplished! You are still crawling everywhere and curious about so much! You point with your arm to where you want to go, saying "down" a lot and a lot more that will soon make more sense. We are all so excited to celebrate your first birthday next month as it is going to be a blast! 

Grandpa's wedding

This past weekend I had the pleasure of witnessing my grandpa Jay's wedding. It was a very special day that brought all of my dad's side of the family together. All of the grandkids and great grandkids had a special part. It was so sweet to watch and celebrate all together. Congratulations gramps!

Happy 10 months Mason!

Happy 10 months to our little man! He is still crawling like crazy, loves his sister's room; especially singing in the microphone! It is so sweet! He loves bananas, playing with big sister, the dogs and balls. Enjoyed this month very much!

Student of the Month

WAY TO GO KYLIE!! We are SO proud of you!! Jesse and I were smiling SO big when we received the notice from school regarding Kylie receiving a student of the month award for her kind actions and words! We got to surprise her at the school assembly in which they presented her the award. We are SO proud of you and love you SO much!!

DISNEYLAND 2013

At first, we thought about waiting another 6 months or so to take our first family vacation as a family of four, but as Spring break approached we decided we NEEDED a family getaway!! We spent the first three days between Disneyland and California Adventure. The kids had a BLAST!! My parents and niece met us down there and the kids had a blast getting their hair done at Disney 365, going on a ton of rides, playing at the pool and chasing the characters for their signatures. We also spent a day at Knott's Berry Farms. Mason was constantly on the lookout- he LOVED all of the characters as well as the few rides we could take him on- It's a Small World, Storybook and Pirates of the Caribbean. It was an overall great first trip to Disneyland for Mason!
