Crystal's Baby Shower

I had the pleasure of hosting my little sister's baby shower which I thoroughly enjoyed! It was so fun decorating for a GIRL! Crystal did an excellent job with the decorations, food and guests! It was so wonderful to have a great group of family and friends to help us celebrate the soon arrival of Summer! I am so eager to meet this little girl who is expected to arrive 9/24/2012....or sooner!

Mason 1 Month

This first month being a mom again has been amazing! Mason is a great eater; cuddler and I just adore watching his every move! He is still sleeping a lot, his cry is so sweet and innocent and he is so perfect! Kylie continues to be a great help, always wanting to know how many times he was up in the night and making sure she has been getting her good morning kiss from him each morning. It has been sweet to watch her love her brother so much.

I am napping throughout the night and catching up with friends and co-workers via email. It has been funny to hear people say “did you really email me at 2:30AM?” It is sort of my time to myself. If feeding time counts? It has helped me stay connected to the outside world while enjoying my time at home with my kids.

This first month I am still adjusting to balancing my time and attention between two kids, which will only get better and is a transition no matter the age difference. We have enjoyed visiting my mom and sister at work, my mother in law has been so sweet to come over and watch the kids so I could begin jogging (and hopefully running soon!) again. Also, I have been so blessed with lots of family and friend’s coming by to meet Mason, visit and bringing dinner! THANK YOU all so much! It means a lot to us!

Week 2

We decided to take a trip over and stay with Jesse in Eastern, WA so that he could see the kids more. I was a bit nervous travelling with two, one being only 2 weeks old. But, it went just fine. It was great to see Jesse after work, Kylie enjoyed swimming in the pool and I cuddled Mason. One day, my sister, her boyfriend and my mom drove over and we spent the day in Leavenworth. It was really fun!

 Poor boy was SO upset on the way back from Leavenworth, that Crystal took him out of his carseat the MOMENT we returned to the hotel to console him. Here he is feeling way better! Thank you Auntie Dot!

Meeting Auntie Anne

It was such a sweet treat to introduce Auntie Anne to Mason. She adored him so much and shared with us that she was ready to do it all over again with her daughter turning 12 soon.....just kidding! She loves our baby like her own.

Sibling Love

Kylie is really enjoying being a big sister! She loves to help with diaper changing (well #1's of course!) as well as holding her little brother. Here are some sweet moments!

After talking about it since the moment I announced my pregnancy, Mason was here and we were able to introduce the boys to one another! Shauna and Brandon also held Mason and Bronson's curiosity about him was so sweet; wanting to touch him and play with his car seat. We were finally able to see the boys together- what a gift!!

Shauna you are so special to me in so many ways! You are a wonderful friend who has been there for me through so much and I have enjoyed our visits while on my maternity leave. I feel so lucky to have have watched Bronson grow from the moment I met him at 3 weeks old to witnessing his first steps at my house! I am excited for you to watch Mason do the same! I love you!
